further updated and worked on storyboard

in this one i added a beginning and i added some doodles to the background. But i think i am going to stray away from the contour line drawings and go with  larger silhouettes and i am going to work with the typography and change colors.  Also i am going to cut out the beginning and i am going to cut out the uncrumpling of the paper at the end and instead include a bunch of balls piling up next to the MTV.

story board critique

here is my storyboard for the MTV bumper. The point i'm trying to get across with this is that i am bored as MTV now.  When i am bored i doodle and make planes, and spitballs and other things like this. some suggestions i got during critique are to...show the plane folding itself up in the beginning to show more of a story line, use stop motion type animation instead of smooth animation to fly the plane across the screen and unfold the paper,  also instead of the show title on the plane have the plane reveal the show behind it.

MTV observation

My MTV observation was done on the show Snooki & Jwoww.  Unfortunately it was a marathon on and that is the only show I got to watch.  I think the message that this show was trying to put out is that these "famous" people are normal just like you, but really they are not normal at all.  The show made me feel ashamed for them, that they would put their ridiculous lives on camera for everyone to see the shameful things they do.  I feel like a lot of MTV shows are made to take things that are not perfect in peoples lives and stretch it out to make it even worse and more ridiculous than it really is and film it for the world to see.  I just feel like instead of these MTV reality stars becoming famous they are becoming infamous.  At one time or another on every show, every person has made themselves look like an idiot on television, for everyone including their whole family to see.  Even though I am disgusted by almost every show on MTV, I found it hard to turn the channel from this nonsense that Snooki and Jwoww were doing.  So I guess MTV is doing their job!
